Do I need a referral
You only need a referral from your GP if you are using a GP Management plan or a team care management plan for Medicare rebates.
Can I used Medicare or Private Health Insurance to cover payment?
Yes, under the Medicare Allied Health Initiative, individuals with a GP Management Plan or a Team Care Management Plan for a chronic health condition can receive a rebate of $60.35 from Medicare. If you are eligible, you can receive up to five dietitian consultations per year. A referral from your GP is required for this.
Most private health funds offer rebates for Dietitian consultations. The rebate amount varies between health funds & the level of cover you have. Please contact your health fund to determine if dietetic consultation is covered & rebate.
What if I need to cancel or change my appointment?
Contact Natasha as soon as possible. As this is an appointment based service, We require 24 hours or more notice. Any changes or cancelations with 24 hours or more notice, the appointment can be changed or canceled at no cost. If you change or cancel your appointment within 24 hours, you will be charged 50% of the scheduled fee. If you fail to attend the appointment with no attempt to reschedule, the full scheduled fee will be charged.
Will I receive a reminder for the appointment?
Yes, you will receive a reminder text message to your mobile phone.

Telehealth & Home visits are available Monday, Thursday & Friday.
